ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF FEES AND FUNDING – 2026 Intake

Prices and information for the 2026 intake apply to all applicants, including those funded by bursaries.

I am responsible for covering all fees not paid by bursaries, including (but not limited to):

The deposit
The administration/lease fee
The mattress protector fee

For bursary-funded students (excluding NSFAS):

I am required to pay rent out of pocket until bursary funds are received.
Refunds of out-of-pocket payments (where applicable) will be processed at the end of the lease term, unless the bursary has settled the full lease amount in advance.
Where the bursary has paid for the entire duration of the lease, with no out of pocket payments made by me, no payments made by the bursary will be refunded to me as the lease holder or to the student.

For NSFAS-funded students only:

NSFAS will contribute only a portion of the rent for a maximum of 10 months. The exact 2026 monthly contribution is not yet confirmed.
NSFAS payments usually begin in March or April, backdated to February. I will be required to pay rent out of pocket until NSFAS funds are received.
I understand that I may need to top up rental payments if NSFAS contributions do not fully cover the rent.
Refunds of out-of-pocket payments (where applicable) will be processed after NSFAS has made payment; however, any top-up amounts due for the remainder of the lease will be deducted from refunds before payment.
